Crompton 5 HP/3 Phase 415 V Induction Motors is a two-speed1440 RPM induction motor with a cast iron frame, single-phase three-winding and field cage. This motor is suitable for general use in industrial induction heaters and welding. The IE3 B3M motor is UL approved and has a CSA rating of Class IE3. The IE3 motor is designed as a general-purpose induction motor with low cost and high efficiency. The gearbox enables a single shaft for started, stopped, and adjustable speed applications such as fans and blowers. Single-phase foot-mounted IE3 general performance induction motors are suitable for applications requiring low torque or high starting torques. Supplied with an IP55 enclosure, the motors can be installed in dusty conditions or environments with water jets and splashes.
