Product Description
The Thunder evaporative cooler uses water vapor to cool air. It consists of two chambers separated by a perforated membrane. One chamber contains a desiccant material (a type of absorbent) while the other chamber holds a solution of water and salt. When air passes over the membrane, it picks up moisture from the desiccant and becomes saturated with water vapor. As the air continues to pass over the membrane, it loses its capacity to hold any additional moisture. This causes the air inside the second chamber to become cooled down.
